Epic Games - the fascinating world of gaming and the metaverse

Currently, the technology world is building the metaverse, an open three-dimensional version of the Internet that we can virtually inhabit and experience with the help of so-called avatars (a person in the virtual world). This is in contrast to today's linear two-dimensional Internet, which we simply view from the outside via browsers and apps. Upon deeper inspection, Epic Games emerges as a key player in developing the so-called Metaverse. No wonder, as a game manufacturer, the company has the advantage of having already created numerous, increasingly realistic 3D worlds.
